Manifest
Alice Steeple is very good at disassociation. Unlike other patients with multiple personalities, hers don't live in her head. She physically becomes them as manifestations of her guilt. Her personas create holes in her memories, leaving behind their crimes as hers.
Park Ji Woon, a Korean psychiatrist, learns of Alice's secret identities. After a decade, the pair meets again as he seeks revenge against her father, Dr. Harris, for his sister's rape and death. Alice helps Ji Woon until she is abducted and drowned by two women, except Alice does not die and wakes up wearing the face of her murderer - Sophie Han.
A manhunt for Alice ensues in Seoul. Witnesses who saw Alice are found dead. Someone shoots her and Harris dies in Alice-Sophie’s arms, and now Sophie’s corpse is washed ashore.
Can she trust Park Ji Woon, or find the real killer herself? Everyone, even her other selves, is a suspect. Is it too late to save herself? Each death brings Alice steps to the truth and closer to the edge of insanity.
